The shell fabric alone is worth discussing. Super supple, amazingly soft, yet dense enough for water to simply bead and bounce off. A removable quilted liner with hood and wool blend rib knit cuffs instantly serves as a 2nd jacket as weather dictates. Taking many of its cues from the original M-51 parka, many of the original’s construction hallmarks are faithfully embraced while at the same time utilizing modern materials for a better solution.
